1º ESO
As part of the History and Geography curriculum, 1st-year ESO students have engaged in an artistic project titled “Rock Art.” This educational endeavor aims to explore and represent the artistic expressions left by our ancestors on cave walls, thus providing a window into the past and fostering a deeper understanding of human history.
This project has not only allowed students to express their creativity but has also reinforced their comprehension of historical and geographical contexts, highlighting cultural evolution over time. Through the fusion of art and historical study, students have experienced firsthand how art can serve as a medium for conveying ideas and emotions, both in the past and present.
The process involved researching various examples of prehistoric rock art, understanding the techniques used by early humans, and the significance of these artistic representations within their cultural context. Students then had the opportunity to create their own pieces inspired by the styles and themes of ancient rock art, encouraging them to reflect on the importance of artistic expression throughout history.
