This trimester, our 5th grade students have been busy stepping back in time and bringing Spanish history to life through a series of creative and entertaining skits! From the Medieval period to the Modern Age, students worked hard to write scripts, design props, create costumes, and perform their own interpretations of important moments in Spain’s past.
Throughout the project, students transformed themselves into historical figures and communities such as the Visigoths under King Recaredo I, the Caliphs and Emirs of Córdoba, Muladís, Mozarabs, the Jewish communities, the Moors, the Catholic Monarchs—Isabel I and Fernando II—along with their children and spouses, Christopher Columbus, the Lesser Habsburgs, and the Bourbons. It was wonderful to see their classroom learning come alive on stage!
Every student had the chance to shine. With colorful costumes, creative props they made themselves, and plenty of enthusiasm, the students impressed everyone with their acting and storytelling skills. All of the performances were recorded and edited, allowing parents to enjoy the shows from home and celebrate their children’s fantastic work.
The skit project was a huge success! Students had an amazing time performing, watching themselves on film, and learning history in a fun and memorable way. Their handmade props are now proudly displayed in the school hallway as a reminder of their creativity, effort, and dedication.

¡Los alumnos de 5.º curso llevan la historia al escenario!
¡Este trimestre, nuestros alumnos de 5.º curso se han dedicado a viajar al pasado y a dar vida a la historia de España a través de una serie de sketches creativos y entretenidos! Desde la Edad Media hasta la Edad Moderna, los alumnos han trabajado duro para escribir guiones, diseñar atrezo, confeccionar trajes y representar sus propias interpretaciones de momentos importantes del pasado de España.
A lo largo del proyecto, los alumnos se transformaron en personajes históricos y comunidades como los visigodos bajo el rey Recaredo I, los califas y emires de Córdoba, los muladíes, los mozárabes, las comunidades judías, los moros, los Reyes Católicos —Isabel I y Fernando II— junto con sus hijos y cónyuges, Cristóbal Colón, los Habsburgo Menores y los Borbones. ¡Fue maravilloso ver cómo lo aprendido en clase cobraba vida sobre el escenario!
Todos los alumnos tuvieron la oportunidad de brillar. Con trajes coloridos, atrezo creativo hecho por ellos mismos y mucho entusiasmo, los alumnos impresionaron a todos con sus habilidades interpretativas y narrativas. Todas las actuaciones se grabaron y editaron, lo que permitió a los padres disfrutar de los espectáculos desde casa y celebrar el fantástico trabajo de sus hijos.
¡El proyecto de las representaciones fue un gran éxito! Los alumnos se lo pasaron en grande actuando, viéndose a sí mismos en vídeo y aprendiendo historia de una forma divertida y memorable. Sus accesorios hechos a mano se exhiben ahora con orgullo en el pasillo de la escuela como recuerdo de su creatividad, esfuerzo y dedicación.
