HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP
For our Halloween workshop, we started by reading Mog’s Box by Helen Nicoll and Jan Pieńkowski. The children enjoyed listening to the story and talking about what
happened to Mog, especially her curious and magical adventures.
CHESTNUT ART
Para fortalecer nuestra coordinación mano-ojo y nuestras habilidades motoras finas, colocamos castañas sobre hojas de papel y las seguimos con nuestros pinceles mojados en acuarela.
PAINTED WINDOWS
In 6th grade, we started September with a window painting competition. Each student designed a window pane, and we voted as a class which 3 we wanted to see painted on the windows of the Art room.
COMUNICACIÓN NO VERBAL
En 6º de Primaria hemos aprovechado el tema de la comunicación no verbal para diseñar y colocar señales en distintas zonas del colegio.
ZENTANGLES
In 5th grade Art class, we learned about pattern and the use of negative space in a very fun way in September.
COLOUR THEORY
In 4th grade, to learn about color theory in Art, we had a class competition! Each student chose 4 colors to mix together and attempt to create 12 different colors.
